Everyone Needs Sleep!

My wonderful roomie, Carly, inspired me to blog about sleeping. I absolutely love my sleep, and I just can't get enough of it it seems. We have to backtrack for a minute back to the high school days. I use to sleep all the time in high school so my mother decided to take me to the sleep clinic. This is where it all begins- they discovered that I have a sleeping disorder because my body doesn't get past the 2nd realm of sleep which is when you reach a deep sleep. Therefore when I wake up in the morning I always still feel very tired because my body hasn't rested. The bad part is that there is nothing for me to really do about except let myself rest when I am tired this includes daily naps. It's not that I am being lazy and sleeping because really I hate it. I feel when I sleep I am missing out on something! We all know I hate to miss out on anything! So if you every walk in on me napping or notice that I am always sleepy now you know why! This week so far has been going well! My poor little McCoy today did not feel too well but he was a sweet boy and laid with me on the couch watched Mickey Mouses Clubhouse. Oh I just love seeing him! Liza also got to come hang out with us for a little bit today. Ms.Liza will crack you up! I can't believe the week is almost over and it is almost time for THANKSGIVING! I must tell my wonderful grandmother, mama, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Also my amazing brother, Clayton ,HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Best wishes to the both of you! I have been debating on whether or not to go get a spray-tan. It's like the thing to do up in Fayetteville. I have never had the courage because I am so pale, so I am never sure how it will turn out on me. My friend, Ms.Natalie Seifritz got one today and woo she looks HOTT! Tomorrow (Thursday) is Slaterboys game and will be heading to watch him play tomorrow night, Go Lyon! I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful weekend! We should all be thankful for what we have! Be thankful in the moment. The picture above is Mr.Chris Nilan and me! Congrats to you and Julie on the engagement!

Weekend Festivities!

What a weekend it was! Friday night Barrett and I headed out to the razorback basketball game! We had a great time and we won! I really enjoy watching the basketball games, they are such fast pace which keeps me more entertained. Slaterboy got in town late Friday night, He and Barrett stayed in and relaxed. I went out to Sigma Chi Ski Lodge, surprise surprise! This is a big deal since I am not really a sigma chi groupie. I felt kind of like a traitor leaving my SAE boys ;).The decorations for ski lodge were amazing, they did a great job! The had a band on Friday night that I wasn't too sure about but we made it fun! Saturday morning I woke up bright and early to take the boys chik-fil-a breakfast. I couldn't believe that I woke up early for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We just watched football and hung out until it was time to head down to tail-gate! A bunch of us chio's were tailgating and we got filmed calling the hogs, but we are not sure what it as for :(. So that doesn't really help us out! We all went into the game and cheered on the hogs! We had quite the crowd around us, you must love razorback fans. Barrett and I made great friends with this old couple next to us. Neither the husband or wife were from Arkansas or went to school at Arkansas but they have been razorback fans for 25years, this surprised us. We got to sit next to Emily (my best friend) which was such a treat! Thanks Em for the tickets! Poor Slater being the tall giant was a little cramped in the seats but we all made do. After the game I went out to try sigma chi ski lodge one more time. There was a lot of people there and a country band performed. The country band was definitely more my style. Carly and I had a snow fight with Greg in the courtyard, we won ;). It ended up being a fun night! Sunday was just a relaxing day, we went to church and then Slater had to leave soon after that. I hope this week flies by so I can hurry up and start my thanksgiving break!! I hope everyone had a FANTASTIC weekend! So the picture I added is the BEAUTIFUL Chi-Omega house all decorated on homecoming morning!

11-12-09

Okay so I am getting all confused with dates so I am going to just start all over and correctly this time! Veterans day should have been posted as the 11th! Most people are out tonight at ski lodge date night or out at the bars. Carly and I being the lovely fun age of 20, we are not. We are both cuddled up in our cozy beds, and since neither of our boyfriends are sigma chi's that limits us from ski lodge tonight. Samantha and I went out on a dinner date tonight to Dixie Cafe! yummm! It is one of our favorites! We did question how Dixie Cafe is still open because it never seems busy. Barrett doesn't understand how we love it so much, since we are usually over the average age of people eating in the restaurant. Samantha and I are planing to live together next year since we cant live at chio! So if you have not seen the Saturday Night Live with Taylor Swift go check it out! Too funny! My mom tried tempting me into coming home this weekend! The holiday house is going on in Little Rock and that was her incentive to getting me home! But it is the Razorbacks last home game, and I will be home next weekend for thanksgiving woo! Barretts parents will be up next weekend to watch Slater ( Barretts brother) play basketball up in Springdale, we are excited to finally get to see Slater play! Slater is also coming to Fayetteville this weekend to hangout with Barrett and I, we are looking forward to seeing him! I have found out when the best time to do laundry is at chi-o, Thursday nights! I put a load in and I am waiting on it to finish up, it just makes you feel better when you do your laundry! Today was just a typical average day, nothing to exciting went on. All the Christmas decorations are up at the chio house, they look so beautiful! Special thanks to Samantha's parents for helping out decorating and Mom Sylvia! Have a fabulous day! Check out the BEAUTIFUL picture of the house!!

11-12-09 Veterans Day!

I am back already, because I love blogging that much already! All day today I was explaining to everyone how I have a blog, and you should have one too! Hopefully I influenced someone to give it a shot. I guess I am dating this a day behind since I start so late at night...but I think everyone can follow me. I want to say a THANK YOU to all veterans in particular my brother, Clayton! Clayton is my biggest hero and fought overseas in Afghanistan for a year serving our country in the Army.My family is so proud of him and I want to honor him and all the Veterans on this day( Picture above is before Clayton left for the army, loveeyall)! I got to keep my precious McCoy today, who lights up my day! I started babysitting McCoy at the beginning of the semester and I am in love with him and his whole family, including his big sister who is the cutest thing ever, Liza! I actually owe it to Kate (McCoy and Liza's mom) who got me hooked on blogging. Kate has the cutest blog that she keeps up with on a weekly bases about whats going on in the Carter family. Tonight I went to the SAE soccer game to cheer on Barrett and all the SAE's! It was a win/win situation since SAE was playing another SAE team (Barrett's team won ;). Although it was freezing outside it was still fun...always a good time when it's Chi-o's and SAE's right? The best thing about living at Chi-o can also be the worst thing I decided. It is when you come in at night, no matter what time it may be there are always girls downstairs studying or hanging out. The bad side to this is you never can get upstairs because you stay and talk ,you can see where I am going with this...procrastination! I was able to watch half of the CMA awards which is so entertaining and I love! I heard Taylor Swift ended up winning pretty much everything! I am a fan and happy for her, what an accomplishment! Owl-O-Ween was a few weekends back on the 30th, we had a great time! Barrett and I dressed up as the bull and the matador, it was a success! Check out the picture and be the judge yourself. The popular costume for this year was H1N1 (swine flu) pretty cute idea I must say! Well I don't want to get boring and chat too much, which we all know I can do! Have a great day! ( Sorry Barrett's eyes aren't really open but it's all I have for now)

11-11-09 first time blogging...

So I decided to join the rest of the world and start a blog. I know I probably don't have near as exciting things to talk about and discuss as others, but i am going to give it a shot. School is winding down and everyone is itching for thanksgiving break to hurry up, especially myself. Every semester seems to go by faster and faster....I cant not believe i will be approaching my senior year so soon.Carly and I decided although it is not spring yet, our room was in need of a spring cleaning. It is amazing how much better you sleep, and feel in a clean environment. Although last night Carly for the first night snored...but its okay we got it fixed. She has one on me as well, i grind my teeth and it kills her. We are both sitting awake and trying to figure out this blogging..which i am already in love with. We both have early mornings, mine will soon be starting at the lovely 7am! I get to pick my schedule for next semester in the morning, which has been stressful trying to figure out all my classes and times. I am going to try and just do Tuesday/ Thursday classes and see how that works out, long weekends will be nice! Mom is super excited that i will be able to stay at home longer on the weekends! The razorbacks play at the home this wkend, soeveryone is getting excited! That is all for now! oh and thats Carly and Me from yippie chio! And CHIO WON HOMECOMING!
